Music and the Market
– The combined event of the Paola Farmers Market and the summer performance series Music on the Square.
Saturday evenings from 6 PM to 9 PM on Paola’s Park Square.
Discover Historic Paola, in collaboration with the Miami County Arts Council, offers Music and the Market.
Music on the Square is the classic summer performance series that has long been part of Saturday nights in downtown Paola.
Come on down to Park Square with your lawn chair to watch the show. Performances start at 7:30 and run through sunset, with just enough time for the performers to pack up with the fading daylight.
The long-running Saturday Paola Farmers Market has moved to evenings to take part in this joint event. For the 2021 season, the market has over a dozen regular vendors, and is also offering centralized point-of-sale, available to accept credit and debit cards and SNAP/EBT cards. In addition, most vendors (where eligible) are accepting Kansas Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program checks.
This season the market has a variety of vendors offering fresh local meats, poultry, produce, jams & jellies, eggs, baked goods, cut flowers, and other home-made, hand-made goods and products that come from our own Kansas soil.
