Music and the Market
•
The Paola Farmers Market combined with Music on the Square.
Summer Saturdays from 6 to 9 PM on Paola’s Park Square.
Discover Historic Paola, in collaboration with the Miami County Arts Council, offers Music and the Market.
The Music
Music on the Square is the classic summer performance series that has long been part of Saturday nights in downtown Paola.
Bring a lawn chair to join the live performance audience on Park Square. Performances start at 7:30 and run through sunset.
The Market
The other mainstay of summer Saturdays in Paola is the Paola Farmers Market. We bring in local farmer-vendors and have a centralized point-of-sale, which gives shoppers the option to use credit cards, debit cards, and EBT benefit cards for SNAP. In addition, many vendors, when eligible, also accept Kansas Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program checks.
All market vendors are located within 50 miles of Paola. Look for fresh local meats, poultry, produce, jams & jellies, eggs, baked goods, cut flowers & live plants, artwork, and other home-made & hand-made goods from our own Kansas soil.
